I’m using the Barber layout of the template and when I type into the search bar on the left or at the bottom of the page it brings up the default layout of the template. How do I edit the search results page in the editor to use the barber layout of the template? I have the barber set as home page already.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in!

The theme comes with 2 theme options (“Appearances > Customize” & “Page options at bottom of the page/post”)

It’s very simple indeed, just 2 points that you need to know to use our Theme Options.

    1. There are global options that affect you entire site in “Appearances > Customize”.

    2. There are individual options that affect only that page or post in “Page options at bottom of the page/post” (Screenshot: https://i.ibb.co/zS2J3j4/po.png)

If you want to use global options (1), please set those options as “default” in individual options (2).

So in this case, the left menu is used for only Barber theme, but not all the page in your site, to apply it for all the pages, please go to your Dashboard > Appearances > Customize > Header, and change the Header Layout into “Left Vertical Dark” to be same as “Barber” theme.

Then in case you still see some pages are using difference header layout, please go to that page editor, scroll to bottom, and set the Header Layout option into “default layout” in order to use the global header setting in “Appearances > Customize”.

I hope this answers your questions, and if you need anything else, please let me know.

    Best regards,
    Danny

Okay I got that fixed. Thanks, but I wanted to change the top main menu so it doesn’t have that color at the top of the sub menu. Where can I edit it out or make color transparent? I found where to change it in the color options under appearance/customize/color. Is there a place to edit how it acts?

Okay I found that as well. Where do I find the colors for the menu when you hover affecting the text or menu font? It says megamenu in places but I don’t see the plugin for that. Is it somewhere else?

I found this one too… Okay last one, when I scroll down the page and the menu come down and becomes white can I change the background color? I like the menu transparent at the top but my logo is white. So when I scroll it down I loose that… Help?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your info!

In this case, you can upload 2 logo version (light logo – for the transparent & dark header & dark logo – for the white header) via Appearances > Customize > Header > Logo…, you can play around to combine the header layout with logo as you wish.

Otherwise, if you still want to change the background header color, please point to specific page where we can see it. Any screenshots about the issues would be welcomed!

    Best regards,
    Danny
