Hi there,
how can I change the background color(s) of the Header?
I tried to change the following settings via “Appearance > Customize > Colors”:
– Background Color
– Background Dark Color
– Background Gray Dark Color
I did not made any specific changes to the page settings.
However, the background always stays white for the “Standard Header”, or black for the “Standard Header Dark” respectively. This is also true for all the other header styles, except for the “Transparent Header” options (not quite sure what the difference between “Transparent” and “Transparent Dark” is, though).
So, again: How do I change the background color of the header?
Thanks in advance!
Hi there,
Thanks for writing in!
Those background color options only apply to the background in boxed content site layout, but not the menu background. You can try to change the menu background in Appearances > Customize > Colors > Menu & Submenu Background Color.
The “Transparent” set menu item color to white color to use with dark background image and “Transparent Dark” set the menu item color to black color to use with light background image.
Or in case you want to set custom menu color, you may have to add custom CSS, you can share us your site URL and specific which color you want to change so we can check it for you.
Best regards,
Danny
