Hi there, I had working few months ago the google maps section but now I can’t see the map.

I just wrote my Google Maps API key in custom theme

and inside the “google map” I try with:

    1.- Map Location
    19.406395, -99.166802

    Doesn’t work

    2.- Map location
Tlacotalpan, 59, Cuauhtémoc, Ciudad de México.

    Doesn’t work

Nothing appear. Few months ago with the second option work fine.

What I need to write in “map location”? what is the format?

    Thanks

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in!

About this issue, please make sure you have followed the article here to create your own key and put it in Appearances > Customize > System > Google Maps API key: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key#get-an-api-key

Follow these steps to get an API key:

    1. Go to the Google API Console.
    2. Create or select a project.
    3. Click Continue to enable the API and any related services.
    4. On the Credentials page, get an API key.
Note: If you have an existing unrestricted API key, or a key with browser restrictions, you may use that key.
    5. From the dialog displaying the API key, select Restrict key to set a browser restriction on the API key.
    6. In the Key restriction section, select HTTP referrers (web sites), then follow the on-screen instructions to set referrers.
    7. (Optional) Enable billing. See Usage Limits for more information.

If the problem persists, please share us the admin account of your site via private reply so we can investigate your case and help you out. Also, please point to specific page where we can see the problem. Any screenshots would be welcomed!

    Best regards,
    Danny
