Hello, I am working with your Navian theme and to customize it without overloading the code, I am modifying the css files directly. I understand that it is not ideal, but it is what I need.

The problem that arises for me is that when I update a page or make certain configuration changes, the css styles are recompiled and I need to upload the edited css back to the server.

Would it be possible to disable automatic compilation of css files?

    Thanks for your attention

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in!

Regretfully, we couldn’t disable the automatic compilation since we need to generate it base on the theme settings.

In case you want to customize the theme style, please add your custom code into your Dashboard > Appearances > Customize > Addition CSS.

Or you can use child-theme (which is included in the theme package) and add custom CSS code into your child-theme style file.

If you still want to modify the main theme file, you’ll need to edit the theme.less file in assets/css folder, but it’s not recommended because your changes will be lost on the theme updates.

    Hope this helps,
    Danny
