Post date is missing in Masonry 3 col layout post snippets as well as individual post (single post) display, author name, number of comments and Like symbol(Love) are showing , Date is missing >

Is there any setting for it? For a Blog ‘Author Name’ and “Date published” and perhaps “category” are the most essential attributes so must be available by default, I am surprised to see “date published’ is missing !

    Please suggest.

    Regards,

    Suhas

    Hi Suhas,

This is the default style for the Masonry blog layouts, in case you want to add Date in this blog layout, please open up the “inc-content-boxed-masonry.php” file in themes/wanium/templates/post/ folder, find the code below (around line 27):

    <div class="widgetsubtitle mb16"><?php the_category( ',</span><span class="inline-block">' ) ?></div>

… and change it into this:

    <div class="widgetsubtitle mb16"><?php the_category( ',</span><span class="inline-block">' ) ?></div>
    <div class="widgetsubtitle mb16"><?php echo get_the_time(get_option('date_format')); ?></div>

(you can do the same with inc-content-boxed.php file)

We’ll update it in next updates version of the theme.

    Best regards,
    Danny

    Thanks,

I can manage these small changes, but better you make it a ‘Default’ feature. By default, Blog posts are chronologically arranged so ‘Date’ is important. Well , you can have an option to turn it off.

    Regards
