    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in!

    Please find below the answer for your questions:

    1. This is only the notice message about some WooCommerce metadata, you can just ignore it. All your demo content should be in your Dashboard > Pages/Posts.

    2. About this issue, you can try to deactivate all your plugin (once by once, except WPBakery Page Builder and TLG Framework) to see if the problem is gone or not.

    If the problem persists, please share us the admin account of your site via private reply so we can investigate your case and help you out. Also, please point to specific page where we can see the problem.

    3. There are only some missing demo images on that section of your screenshots, you can simply change it by your own images in your page editor here:

    4. You can change that 1920 x 1280 image in the Row Settings of your page editor as in the screenshot below:

    Hope this helps,
    Danny

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your info!

    I’ve fixed the issue, please check your site again.

    That {{ text }} content seems to come from the Page Layer editor, I’ve checked your homepage and see that you have a Section with those text in there. So I’ve disabled that Row, and the {{ text }} is gone now.

    Hope this helps,
    Danny

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your info!

    1. If you’re using the blog carousel layout, please make sure you’ve added a featured image in your blog post on that category as in the category here:

    2. You can change the footer copyright info in your Dashboard > Appearances > Customize > Footer > Footer Copyright Text.

    Also, you can change the footer link in your Dashboard > Appearances > Menus > Footer Menu.

    Hope this helps,
    Danny

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your info!

    1. Actually, you can use child-theme so that your changes in footer won’t be lost on theme updates: https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/advanced-topics/child-themes/

    For example: you can create the folder templates/footer ino child-theme, then copy the file layout-standard.php, and modify it as you wish.

    2. I see that your blog carousel has same image width & height in your homepage, only the description text is difference that make it looks odd. The blog carousel has already crop your blog image to make it same size.

    You can change description text length in your Dashboard > Appearances > Customize > Blog > Number of words in Grid blog.

    Otherwise, you can use the “Blog Carousel” layout instead of “Blog Carousel Details” layout, it’s only image & title with no description text.

    Hope this helps,
    Danny

    Hi,

    1) I don’t understand this child theme but will try to reread the instructions and follow it again.

    2) regarding the image size, I manually readjusted the image to keep them the same size. It didn’t do this automatically. If you can do it automatically, that will be helpful. Furthermore, if you look at one of the images, you can see that part of it is cut off in the thumbnail. If we can somehow make it where we can highlight the area to display, then that would be helpful as well.

    Thanks,

    Shawn

    Also, I installed a plugin, but I wasn’t able to use that in the footer text. According to the plugin, it should work without modifying the theme or child theme. When I type [current_date format=’Y’] in the copyright area, it writes it exactly like that instead of the actual year.

    #8919

    One more thing, how come the copyright and footer don’t appear on the homepage?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your info!

    1. Yes, the shortcode work fine if you use [current_date format='Y'] in your post/page/widget content, but not in a field in Appearances > Customize.

    In case you want to use shortcode in Footer Copyright text, please open up the layout-standard.php file, find the code below (around line 51) :

    <?php echo wp_kses($header_info['footer_text'], navian_allowed_tags()); ?>

    … and change it into this:

    <?php echo do_shortcode($header_info['footer_text']); ?>

    We’ll add shortcode support for this features in next theme updates. For the meantime, you can use child-theme to modify it to allow shortcode as you wish.

    2. About the Footer copyright in homepage, please open up your homepage editor, scroll to bottom, and make sure the Footer Layout isn’t set to “No Footer”.

    (I’ve already changed the Footee Layout in your homepage to (default), please check again.)

    3. Yes, I mean “Carousel 3 Columns” or “Carousel 4 Columns” with image & title inside, instead of “Carousel Details” with title & description below.

    You can see the demo of Carousel & Carousel Details layout in the link here (scroll to bottom) : http://demo.themelogi.com/navian/elements/blog-showcase/

    Hope this helps,
    Danny

    Hi Danny,

    I made the requested changes to the following but the short code didn’t work:

    In case you want to use shortcode in Footer Copyright text, please open up the layout-standard.php file, find the code below (around line 51) :

    <?php echo wp_kses($header_info[‘footer_text’], navian_allowed_tags()); ?>

    … and change it into this:

    <?php echo do_shortcode($header_info[‘footer_text’]); ?>

    Thanks,

    Shawn

    One more thing. I uploaded a logo, but the logo appears very small on the homepage and other pages.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your info!

    1. I’ve added the code for you, and it seems to work fine, please check your site again:

    2. If you want to increase logo size, please go to your Dashboard > Appearances > Customize > Header, and increase the Menu Height in there so the logo can get more space to be bigger in the header.

    Or you can add increase the logo max-height by adding the code below to your Dashboard > Appearances > Customize > Addition CSS:

    .logo {max-height: 53px;}

    Hope this helps,
    Danny

    Hi,

    Thanks for adding the code.

    Another issue I am having is that I put a Youtube video and a thumbnail on the homepage. When you press the play button, it does appear to open up some kind of screen and there is an “X” that shows up, but it doesn’t play anything. Maybe I did something wrong. Can you help me out?

    #8950

    Actually I think I just fixed it.

    Hi there,

    1. I’ve removed the phone info in the footer widget, and I also added rel="nofollow" into your email link so the bots don’t go inside mailto hrefs. You can read more about it here: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/96569?hl=en

    Here you can find the code:

    <p>Confidenceiatry™ is the self-treatment of one’s confidence which was founded by Shawn Christian, MD. </p>
    <div class=" icon_title_list-content icon-list mt16">
    <ul class="icon_title_list">
    <li class="mb8"><span class="small-icon"><i class="primary-color fa fa-map-marker inline-block icon"></i></span><span>11762 De Palma Rd. Suite 1C#549, Temescal Valley, CA 92883, USA</span></li>
    <li class="mb8"><span class="small-icon"><i class="primary-color fa fa-envelope  inline-block icon"></i></span><span><a rel="nofollow" href="mailto:[email protected]" class="underline-hover">[email protected]</a></span></li>
    </ul>
    </div>

    In case you want to change email into email, please change the code above into this:

    <p>Confidenceiatry™ is the self-treatment of one’s confidence which was founded by Shawn Christian, MD. </p>
    <div class=" icon_title_list-content icon-list mt16">
    <ul class="icon_title_list">
    <li class="mb8"><span class="small-icon"><i class="primary-color fa fa-map-marker inline-block icon"></i></span><span>11762 De Palma Rd. Suite 1C#549, Temescal Valley, CA 92883, USA</span></li>
    <li class="mb8"><span class="small-icon"><i class="primary-color fa fa-envelope  inline-block icon"></i></span><span><a rel="nofollow" href="mailto:[email protected]" class="underline-hover"><img src="your_link_to_image.png" alt="email address" /></a></span></li>
    </ul>
    </div>

    2. You can reduce that space by adding the code below to your Dashboard > Appearances > Customize > Addition CSS:

    .single-post #main-content {padding-top: 0;}

    Or you can change the Page Title height in your Dashboard > Appearances > Customize > Header > Page Title Height.

    P.S: I’ve added the CSS code above & reduce the Page Title Height to 280px as you can see in the screenshot here. Please check your blog post again.

    Hope this helps,
    Danny

    I also noticed that bullet points don’t appear on the blog and courses. I did a google search (https://www.webhostinghub.com/help/community/wordpress/wordpress-bullet-pointsnumdered-lists-not-displaying) and someone said that the theme’s CSS file is overriding the bullet points. Can you fix the CSS so it can show the bulletpoints?

    Thanks,

    Shawn

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your info!

    1. The problem was caused by the logo is too big in mobile vertical screen size, to resolve this issue, please add the code below to your Dashboard > Appearances > Customize > Addition CSS:

    @media (max-width: 990px) {.logo {max-height: 58px;}}

    2. I still see the bullet points in your blog posts here: http://www.confidenceiatry.com/how-exercise-increases-confidence/

    Could you please point to specific page where I can see the problem. Any screenshot would be welcomed!

    Best regards,
    Danny

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your info!

    To resolve this issue, please add the code below to your Dashboard > Appearances > Customize > Addition CSS:

    .page-content ul {list-style: square;padding-left: 20px;}
    .page-content ul ul {padding-bottom: 20px;}

    Hope this helps,
    Danny

    #9028

    Hi Danny,

    Unfortunately, that did not work. It is also giving a red icon with an “X” in the middle under Dashboard > Appearances > Customize > Addition CSS:

    On your 2nd line

    .page-content ul {list-style: square;padding-left: 20px;}
    .page-content ul ul {padding-bottom: 20px;}

    The “UL” is 2 times. Could this be the reason for the error?

    #9032

    Hi Danny,

    One more thing, previously on October 30, 2019 at 4:09 am, you adjusted the page title height on the blogs, but I noticed it doesn’t reflect on other pages such as http://www.confidenceiatry.com/privacy-policy/ . and http://www.confidenceiatry.com/terms-and-conditions/ how can I decrease the space on these pages?

    Thanks,

    Shawn

    #9033

    Good news, I think I got the square bullet points to work by adding the 2nd “}”

    .single-post #main-content {padding-top: 0;}
    @media (max-width: 990px) {.logo {max-height: 58px;}} <——– It was missing the 2nd bracket.
    .page-content ul {list-style: square;padding-left: 20px;}
    .page-content ul ul {padding-bottom: 20px;}

    What can I use to use round bullet points instead of the square?

    #9035
    Danny
    Supporter

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your info!

    1. Actually the other pages such as privacy-policy has already got the page title height equal to 280px as in Customize setting as you can see in the screenshot below. Maybe your header menu is too big, so you may see it got higher page title:

    So you may want to go to Appearances > Customize > Header, and decrease the Menu Height as you wish.

    2. To use round bullet points, please change the page-content ul code above into this:

    .page-content ul {list-style: disc;padding-left: 20px;}

    Hope this helps,
    Danny

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your info!

    That line is used to separate the icons with main menu, to remove that line, please add the code below to your Dashboard > Appearances > Customize > Addition CSS:

    .nav-container.minimal-header .social-list:before {display: none;}
    .nav-container.minimal-header .social-list {padding-left: 15px;}

    Hope this helps,
    Danny
